No Fuss Yeast Bread

Nothing is better than taking a nice hot freshly made loaf of bread from the oven. If you agree, you’ll want to give this a try.

You’ll need:

1 cup of room temp beer. I used our B 2. It’s an IPA.

1 pkg quick rise  yeast

3 cups of bread  flour

1 Tbsp salt

Optional: A pinch of Citric Acid (Fine granules from StarWest)

put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until the dough leaves the side of the bowl as in picture # 1. About 5 min.

Cover with a towel and let it rest for 30 min.

Remove dough from bowl and place in a bread pan. Cover with a towel and let rest another 30- 45 min. It should look like picture # 2.

Place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

When it’s done, it will have a hollow sound when you thump it on the top. It should be  golden brown, as in picture # 3.

Let it set for about 10 min before cutting into. It will be light and airy, and ready to eat!!
